"Hi, there! What are you doing?" asked the crow politely.
The peacock was surprised, but he managed to spread out his tail feathers to show what a beautiful tail he had.
"Can't you see that I am eating?" replied the peacock proudly.
"Do forgive me for disturbing you," said the crow. "I have not eaten for many days and am really hungry. Would you be willing to share your food with me?"
