(1) Ask and answer:

(2) Show pictures: the sun, clouds
T: Can you say some other words including the letter “u” pronounced as word “sun”?
(3) Using some adjectives to describe the sun: the red sun, the smiling sun, the big sun, the round sun.
(4) Make sentences with this word: The sun is shining.
There is a big red sun in the sky.
(5) What’s the weather like today? It’s sunny.
(6) sunny, sunny, I can feel the sun.
2. clouds
(1)T: We can see the sun in the sky today. What can we also see? We can see many clouds in the sky.
(2)Read and spell the new word properly.
(3)Draw some clouds on the blackboard. Describe the words
3. rain
(1)T: What colour are the clouds? White. But sometimes they’re dark. When the dark clouds are in the sky, it will rain
(2)Colour the clouds dark ,then draw rain.
