  教学难点:

  How old are you? / How old is Jenny?

  Sb is older/ younger than Sb.

  教学过程:

  Step 1.Listening to the tape carefully.

  Step 2.Learning new words and phrases on PPT.

  Step 3.Learning the new text: Li Ming’s family and The Smith family

  Step 4.Ask students read the text to check if they are right

  Step 5 Divide the whole class into several groups. Let them make a survey with the new words and phrases. E.g.: How many people are there in your family?

  Who are they?

  Step 6 let the students make a family tree of their family.

  Step 7 Games

  Enjoy the song “THE FAMILY IS IN MY HEART”

  板书设计:

  Lesson1 Fathers, Mothers, Brothers and Sisters

  a. Words:

  father mother brother sister grandmother grandfather family

  父亲 母亲 兄弟 姐妹 祖母 祖父 家庭

  b.Phrase:

  live in+ place(e.g. live in China) 居住在

  a picture of + name (e.g. a picture of me/ a picture of my family)一张谁的照片

  教学总结:

  After this lesson, students are wished to remember the mastery words and phrases. Furthermore, they should practice their oral English as much as possible. They will know how to make a survey.
