　　Step1 Greeting and review

　　2. Show a map of the world. Teacher asks some questions about the map to review.

　　Step2 Presentation:

　　T: I love China. China is a beautiful country. The U.S., the U.K., Canada and Australia are beautiful, too. I want to go on a trip to a beautiful country. Do you want to go with me? Let’s take a plane. Please close your eyes. Ladies and Gentlemen，欢迎乘坐一小五三次航班。请大家坐好，系好安全带。飞机即将起航。本次航班的目的地是一个既美丽而又古老的国家。一会儿我们可以从高空看到它的全貌。这个国家的地图看起来就象一只正在吃萝卜的小兔子。

　　Step3：New Concept

　　1. T: Now open your eyes, please. Look！ What is it? This is a map of the country. What country is it? （出示英国地图，并教授the U.K.和the United Kingdom。）

　　2. 各位乘客，飞机即将在London机场降落。大家马上就可以开始英国梦幻之旅。祝大家旅行愉快。Now we are in the U.K.

　　T: what do you want to know about the United Kingdom? Ss say it in their own group, and say it out in the class. such as : the capital city, language, position, the U.K.’s flag and others. Teacher helps students know about the U.K..

　　（1）Beijing is the capital city of China. This is the capital city of the U.K. （指向英国地图上伦敦） What is the capital city of the U.K.? Can you say it in Chinese or in English? London is the capital city of the U.K.. （introduce London to students）
