自学指导 （一）
教师带领学生先复习上节课学过的be的过去式用法，并要求背写
Am, is------was are------were
教师提问，通过对话引出否定式：
T: Were you young then?
S1: Yes, I was.
T: Were you old then?
S1: No, I wasn’t.
进一步练习weren’t的用法，教师提示，反复变换主语人称，让学生在变换中掌握过去式的用法。

教师指导学生，检查自读课文情况，让学生划出带有动词be否定式的句子。
