1. Ask the students to talk about their own school life.
eg: Do you like your uniform?
What’s your favourite sport? When do you play it?

Do you often go to the library? What do you do there?
2. Design a copy of school wall newspaper in each group.

Ⅱ.While-task procedure:
1. Task 1 Pair works
Lead in: Pair work (show a picture of a sports ground)
Play the cassette: Students listen and repeat.
Ask the students to act out the dialogue.
Ask the students to make some dialogues in groups.
2. Task 2 Music Box
1) Students listen and fill in the blanks: (Words on page 66 in Music Box) learn the phonetics according to the sound they heard.
2) Write the phonetics on the board and ask individuals to read them.
3. Task 3 Rhyme
1) Play the cassette: Rhyme Students listen and repeat.
2) Invite some students to read the rhyme.
3) Have the students understand the Chinese meaning of the rhyme.

1) Play the cassette. Students listen and finish the exercises individually.
