　　1. 联系生活实际，促进学生主动学习

　　说一说节日的特殊食物、看图片猜节日等活动设计，都是以学生的生活经验和认知为出发点，取材于学生的实际生活，是学生在生活中发现并使用英语。

　　2. 注重过程评价，关住学生发展

　　除了对学生进行口头鼓励以及带有肯定的手势外，巧妙的结合节日话题，运用跟节日相关的小礼物（圣诞节的圣诞老人，万圣节的面具，复活节的玩具兔子和玩具小鸡）对学生进行评价奖励，体现了教师在评价上得用心，学生也在进一步感知节日的同时体验到了学习英语的乐趣。

　　本课通过“进行节日大餐”的任务设计，仅仅围绕本课中难点进行有效活动设计。通过感恩节的阅读判断改错练习，感恩节由来的扩展阅读，借助图片内容描述节日，小组借助信息描述并书写节日这几个不同层次的活动，让每个学生都参与到学习活动中，使他们的听、说、读、写能力得到全面提升。

　　4. 培养学生学习英语的兴趣和自信

　　在本课的课文中出现了感恩节的英文小诗，让学生模仿它并完成老师最喜欢的节目——中秋节的小诗创作，激发了学生的兴趣，让学生体验到自己也能够作诗的喜悦，从而提高了学习信心。
