3、利用教具尺子,引导学生学习单词metres
4、教学单词metre(s),之后把刚才的小数标在尺子正确的位置上。加上单位名称让学生再一次读。
5、教学句型How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall.
(1)分别出示姚明和刘翔、以及刘翔和潘长江的合影的图片
让学生通过图片的比较,用汉语说出更高,更低。教师教学taller, shorter并板书。
(2)、Do you know how tall are you?让学生用新句型说说自己的身高。
(3)、师生对比,用short 、tall 来形容。
(4)、教师引导生生问答,巩固操练新句型:
Practice:
(1)把学生分成几组,让他们互相测量身高并记录数据引导他们进行如下对话:
学生甲:How tall are you?
学生乙:I am ______metres tall. How tall are you?
学生甲:I am ______metres tall.
教师:(对学生甲)Are you taller or shorter ?
学生甲:I am taller/shorter.
教师:Very good!(对学生乙) Are you taller?
学生乙:Yes/No. I am taller/shorter.
教师:Well done!
要让学生充分理解taller和shorter两个单词的意思。
(2)Listen to the tape and find these answers:
a. How tall is Kim?
b. How tall is Danny?
c. Who is taller and Who is shorter?
